Cancellation Policy

Cancellation:

We understand that unanticipated events can happen. Out of consideration to our therapists’ time, we have implemented the following policies:

 

  • A 24-hour notice by phone is required for cancellation of an appointment, as this allows for another client to receive much-needed care.  You can reach our office here: (412) 419 - 1726.

  • If you cancel within the 24-hour period, you will be charged the full amount of the missed session.

Tardiness/Late Arrival:

Appointment times have been arranged and held specifically for you.  If you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate other appointments that follow.  Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will determine if there is enough time remaining to begin treatment.  Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session, however we will do our best to satisfy your appointment's scheduled duration.

No-Show:

A "no-show" is when you forget or consciously choose to forgo your appointment without contacting Wexford Medical Massage.  When this occurs, you will be charged the full amount of the session.  Three no-shows will result in termination of care.  If you aren't sure if you will make your appointment time, we ask that you please contact us by phone to reschedule as soon as possible.

Financial Responsibility:

You are responsible for paying all fees due to late arrival, missed appointments or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance.

Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan your visit accordingly.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Covid-19

Cleaning and safety protocols are in place as the safety of our clients is paramount.  With respect to our high-risk clientele, masks must be worn and may be provided upon request.  Due to the ongoing uncertainty of COVID-19, we ask that you reschedule if you are not feeling well or you have been exposed to COVID-19 and/or have a positive test.  Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have regarding your appointment.

**Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for an infectious or contagious illness. Please contact us as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition.**
